I started building WordPress websites because the projects I worked on kept running into the same problems: too many plugins, rigid themes, slow websites and simple changes becoming unnecessarily complicated.
The more projects I worked on, the clearer the pattern became. A good WordPress website doesn’t need more tools. It needs better decisions, about structure, design, development and what should actually be built in the first place.
That became the foundation for Vlaja. Custom WordPress development, ACF-driven builds, WooCommerce, integrations and interfaces designed around the people who will actually use them.
Along the way, we also started building products of our own. That changed how we approach client work. When you’re responsible for maintaining, improving and growing something yourself, you quickly learn the difference between code that simply works today and a product that’s comfortable to live with for years.
Vlaja is still intentionally small. The standards, ownership and attention we put into our own products are the same ones we bring to client work.
